This is what we call Spring Training.

From even before the time Max was conceived, Chris has looked forward to the day we could put him to work around the house. He's recently become really helpful; throwing away his dirty diapers, bringing us the remote controls, and shuttling things between me and Chris. So we figured it was time to get serious and start some real training.

Some things Max took away from his first training exercise:

1. Size up your competition.
My mower is bigger than your mower.

2. Warm up with some sprints; they'll wear the old guy out. :)

3. Have a strong finish. And maybe wear pants.

Most importantly, have fun. And don't worry, Max, your parents will allow you lots of opportunities to practice until you perfect this skill.
