Leftoverfest

What's better than 1 day of Oktoberfest?  2 days of Oktoberfest!!! Turns out, when you buy 2 tons of food, you end up with leftovers. And who better to help out with leftover consumption than a group of Eddys? So, we cleaned up most of the Oktoberfest detritus, (with help from Max)

 but left one table up for a more low-key "Leftoverfest" celebration.

We had a nice afternoon hanging out with everyone and enjoying what will probably be one of the last warm weekends of the year. We also were proudly sporting our Clemson gear after Clemson dominated Virginia Tech on Saturday!

And, since we're nothing if not optimistic...we had to have a cousins' photo session. It went about as swimmingly as usual. Here are a few of the best, followed by a few of the worst/my favorites :)

A tender moment ?


So with that, we officially concluded the Ludwig Oktoberfest celebration. While the real Oktoberfest lasts something like 2 weeks, I think 2 days is plenty of celebrating for me. By the conclusion of Ludwig Oktoberfest I had gained several pounds and contracted the worst cold I've had in years...so I would hate to see what 2 weeks would do to me!
