What Time Is It?

Tooth-Hurty!
(buh-dum-dum)

So Sunday night I was cursing daylight saving's time. Max did NOT want to go to sleep. I figured either he was furious because it was still daylight and he thought I was trying to con him out of playtime OR he had an upset tummy due to a certain ice cream tasting he had earlier in the day. He finally gave in and went to sleep and, thankfully, slept for the whole night. (Nevermind that I was up from 3-4:30 AM with Bailey, who was yacking up turkey bones after a certain-someone-who-shall-remain-nameless fed them to her based on the misguided advice of a colleague).

Anyway, I digress. Max seemed in good spirits the next day and I was preparing myself for another bedtime battle last night. Until he opened his mouth wide and I caught a glimpse of this:

Oh yes, a tooth!!

Finally, Mr. Bald and Toothless has the smallest little bud of a tooth poking through. So, I'm blaming teething pain on his bedtime battle on Sunday night, especially since last night he went down without so much as a peep. (Which was probably partly due to a marathon Lowe's research trip with Mimi...heaven knows I was exhausted too!)

And now he's happily playing and "watching TV" in his crib. Crossing my fingers that he handles the rest of the teething process as relatively painlessly as he handled his first one!
